Wines of Chile USA has launched a new website dedicated specifically to the needs of the trade. includes a comprehensive and detailed suite of information including staff training and educational materials in print, PowerPoint and video formats, a searchable database of wine ratings, access to a large gallery of downloadable photos by award winning photographer Matt Wilson, and more.
“This site is a complement to the international site www.WinesOfChile.org. The U.S. trade—meaning on and off premise operators, sommeliers, educators, wholesalers and importers– have a very particular set of information needs that we’ve designed this site to meet,” said Lori Tieszen, Executive Director of Wines of Chile USA. “As an example, we’ve posted detailed reports and training materials such as iWineReview’s reports on Chile and Pinot Noir, a study guide for Chile published by the Guild of Sommeliers, and an educational presentation developed by Wines of Chile and Snooth.com.”
Also included on the site are lists and links to the new Certified Sustainable Wines of Chile wineries and an offer for free large scale wine country reference maps along with feeds from Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/drinkchile <http://twitter.com/drinkchile> ) and a link to the Wines of Chile Facebook page <http://www.facebook.com/WinesOfChile> (http://www.facebook.com/winesofchile.)
