The Ghost Burger haunts menu through Oct. 31

Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar is celebrating the beginning of fall with a spicy new Burger of the Month. In honor of Halloween – and the fiery peppers in the savory dish – the restaurant will be serving up The Ghost Burger throughout the month of October.
Walk-On’s latest creation features a half-pound burger patty, ghost pepper cheese, fried jalapeños, roasted jalapeños, jalapeño-infused lettuce and chipotle mayo all topped on a jalapeño bun. A generous side of shoestring fries is served with The Ghost Burger, all for just $11.99.
For those brave enough to face this frightful delight, Walk-On’s recommends pairing it with a classic Modelo Especial – the ideal complement to your spooky, spicy burger.
Walk-On’s now has 15 locations*: four in Baton Rouge, two in New Orleans and one each in Lafayette, Houma, Shreveport, Lake Charles, Covington and Bossier City, La., and Lubbock, San Antonio and Tyler, Texas. Other locations are coming soon in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, with several additional markets across the Southern U.S. likewise on the drawing board.
*The Ghost Burger is not available at the Covington location.
