Cafe Bonaparte relocates in Hermosa Beach to open early summer 2016

Vanrooy Creative Group, a unique design firm based in Southern California, started in 2007 by Christine and Jerry Van Rooy; designers, critical thinkers, makers and curators of details inspired by roaming the globe, all the things machined, and the beauty of nature. The team is in charge of creating memorable environments, integrating interior architecture and industrial design. Whether it’s a boutique hotel, custom club chair or personal submarine, their approach to design travels far and wide to bring a unique sense of style and engaging experience to every project.

On-the-works is Cafe Bonaparte, a popular Hermosa Beach cafe that is relocating to a 1,300SF venue down the street. Christine and Jerry Van Rooy are in charge of the full exterior and interior architectural & interior design.

The team is using white glazed clay hexagon tiles with brass pendants and white washed white oak wood flooring and custom pastel wall covering to create a clean, crisp fresh California beach cafe. The overall color palette is soft whites and pastels, mixed with brass accents and natural woods.

The venue will seat 25 people both indoors & outdoors and their patio space will be open to the exterior with bridges and breezeways.  Located on the 2^nd floor with views of the Hermosa Beach Pier and ocean.
