Stars & Stripes Rickey cocktail

The recipe for Rosewood Washington D.C.’s Stars & Stripes Rickey cocktail pays homage to the official DC cocktail, the Gin Rickey.  The cocktail will debut just in time July 4^th at the hotel’s highly acclaimed cocktail bar, The Rye Bar.

While the traditional gin Rickey is made with gin, lime juice, and soda water, the Stars and Stripes Rickey is made with Blue Goat gin, a three citrus syrup mixture, house made red apple soda, and fresh lime. This unique variation of DC’s official cocktail is then garnished with lime star cut outs and lemon stripes.

Ingredients

2 oz of Blue Coat gin,

1/2 oz of three citrus syrup

1 oz of fresh lime

House made red apple soda

Lime star cut out garnish and lemon stripes
