Soleto Trattoria & Pizza Bar , located in Downtown Los Angeles is the latest concept from Innovative Dining Group (IDG),the creators of BOA Steakhouse, Sushi Roku, Katana, Robata Bar, and Delphine at W Hollywood. At Soleto, IDG redefined the classic trattoria with a vibrant 3,500-square-foot space designed by Studio Collective. Combining the allure of a street-side café in Rome with a 21st-century neighborhood bar, Executive Chef Sascha Lyon oversees the menu, comprised of straightforward and unpretentious food inspired by Southern Italian cooking. The soaring 20-foot ceilings frame the 360-degree bar, exhibition pizza bar and kitchen, and convivial 1,100-square-foot outdoor dining patio.
Downtown denizens, local professionals, and visitors can enjoy the casual everyday fare at Soleto including antipasti, salads, pizzas, panini’s, pastas, and entrées. Stand-out items include the Grilled Oyster Mushrooms with Grana Padano, Potato and Bacon Pie, and Spicy Smoked Speck. The salads, including the Caeser and Chopt’ Italian, are an afternoon must for a business or casual lunch. The Tower Sub or 801 Burger satisfy a hearty afternoon appetite any day of the week. Additionally, the Spaghetti Puttanesca, Branzino Milanese, or Balsamic Marinated Skirt Steak are ideal for dinner paired with a seasonal fresh cocktail such as the Leaning Tamarindo, Smoked Blossom, or housemade Limoncello.
