Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. announced today that Carmela’s Pizzeria has signed a lease for its fourth location with the Grand Opening scheduled for September 2013. The fourth location is located in Brookville, Ohio within the Dayton, Ohio metropolitan area. The Brookville location will consist of approximately 5,500 square feet of space in the form of a large New York style pizzeria with a small banquet facility offering beer and wine. In addition to New York style pizza, this location will offer a full menu, buffet, takeout and delivery.
They are also planning a national franchise program to be launched in the first quarter of 2014, subject to completion of financing. It will offer several concepts with start-up costs ranging from $50,000 to $100,000, which the Company believes is in the lower range for the industry. The concepts would range from pick-up and delivery to a full-service restaurant as exemplified in the Brookville location.
Greenfield President Henry Fong, said, “I look forward to completion of the Carmela’s Pizzeria closing slated for next week and am very pleased with this new location and their management team’s plans for the future. Franchising is the next logical step and taking the time to set-up a first class program based on the experience of the Carmela’s team is paramount for the future success of the Company.”
