The Robert Irvine Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the physical and mental well-being of our service members, veterans, first responders, and their families, is proud to announce the addition of a new program for our nation’s heroes, Let’s Chow: The Official Food Truck Program of the Robert Irvine Foundation. The Robert Irvine Foundation is led by celebrity chef Robert Irvine, a veteran of the British Royal Navy, and tireless advocate for US military, veterans, and first responders.
Originally a standalone non-profit, Let’s Chow was founded in 2020 by US Navy Lieutenant and US Navy Judge Advocate (JAG) Jordan Foley as a resource for veterans and military spouses interested in developing careers in the culinary industry post-service. Through its Food Truck Training Program, Let’s Chow provides veterans and military spouses with culinary and business training, marketing help, event booking, and additional guidance to help develop their individual businesses while operating Let’s Chow-owned food trucks. In four years of independent operation, Let’s Chow donated over 50,000 meals, provided 15,000 hours of hands-on training for veterans and military spouses, and gave advice and support to 50 veteran-owned businesses. Currently Let’s Chow operates five food trucks in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, Loganville, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, San Diego, California, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
