Brunch has been a longstanding tradition in the US, but in Barcelona it is just taking off, overtaking the city and rapidly becoming a weekend ritual for resident Barcelonans. As a trendsetter within the industry, Hotel Arts Barcelona has embraced this new trend and this May will introduce their own original and unique lifestyle brunch making it the ideal Mediterranean location to spend Sundays.
Guests of Hotel Arts Barcelona can now brunch and bask in breezes on terraces overlooking unspoiled coastlines and azure seas. The new brunch will entice the most experienced epicurean traveler, delighting guests and locals alike with an array of new dishes and activities they can partake in when “brunching” at Arola. As part of the new brunch experience, Arola is introducing a new pre-fixe menu for adults and kids as well as an outdoor area set up with fun family friendly activities like table tennis and foosball. The menu highlights local ingredients and features signature dishes such as Eggs Benedict by Arola with toast, confit pork jowls and foie gras, to traditional Catalan dishes revitalized by Michelin-starred Chef Sergi Arola like Cuttlefish with black rice and peas. A Dessert buffet is available after starters and main courses, courtesy of resident pastry chef Sylvain.
Adding to the prestige of the brunch are servers to provide personalized attention and suggestions for the ultimate in luxury dining experience, with every option has been specially selected to provide palate pleasers. The brunch will also feature treats for all ages from an ice cream cart serving seasonal ice cream and sorbets (perfect for kids) to an outdoor bar serving gin & tonics and cocktails made with ingredients sourced from the restaurant’s own garden (perfect for their parents). Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea with live tunes spun by a local DJ, Arola will be the place to be on Sunday afternoon.
