The Luxury Ranch Resort Announces a New Weekend Event of Culinary Immersion
Greenough, Montana – July 16, 2015 – The Resort at Paws Up, Montana’s premiere luxury ranch resort, announces one of the most unique farm-to-table dining experiences in the country set for this summer: Bounty on the Blackfoot. Participants will enjoy a weekend of culinary immersion, featuring a full Saturday of opportunities to get up-close and personal with Top Chef’s Brooke Williamson (season 10) as she sources, conceptualizes and prepares an exclusive tasting menu on August 29, 2015. Guests will follow the chef and the ingredients as they travel from the farm to the dinner table, all in one day.
More details: Guests have the opportunity to join Chef Brooke as she power shops the Missoula Farmer’s Market first thing in the morning, offering a chance to experience one of the main sources of Montana’s local foods, and meet the talented purveyors behind them. The chef will create a multi-course tasting menu for a dinner to be served that evening, based on the regional produce, spices and proteins that are at their best that day. In honor of the famed location, at least one of the dishes will pay homage to the Blackfoot Indians who grew, hunted and harvested their food on the land where Paws Up is located today (10 miles of the Blackfoot run through the 37,000-acre property). All dishes will highlight the extraordinary agricultural bounty of Montana.
