BOULART WINS 2016 FOOD AND BEVERAGE AWARD FOR INNOVATIVE NEW PRODUCT
The artisan bakery’s ciabatta bites will be showcased at this year’s National Restaurant Association show from May 21st-24th, 2016
Boulart Inc., North America’s first industrial artisan bakery to offer a complete line of Non-GMO products, has been recognized by the National Restaurant Association at their yearly FABI awards for product innovation for their ciabatta bites.

The bites are an off-shoot of the brand’s best-selling product, the ciabatta baguette. The product consists of bite-sized ciabattas that are perfect for snacking. “We noticed that one of the most prevalent trends of the past few years has been snacking, and we wanted to find a way to make our bread available in single sized snacking portions,” says Boulart founder and CEO, Michel Saillant, “Not only does this product have great implications at store level, it’s a wonderful way for airlines and railway carriers to up their service offerings with fresh bread.”
The bites are available in a variety of savoury flavours, and follow the brand’s strict no additives, no preservatives and Non-GMO policies. Despite the small size, the bites retain all of the flavour of artisanal ciabatta bread with a crisp crust and moist interior.
